12 DAYS OF ONDIA J GIVE-O-WAY: DAY 8
A while back I was on the hunt for the best gel for my hair. Ecco styler had flaked on me for the last time and I went on a rampage and tried every brand on the market until I came across Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic. Nothing short of magic, this product gave me everything I needed in a gel. It was moisturizing and gave me the weight and hold I needed to clump my hair and didn’t flake! “How Sway, How?!” I don’t know, it just does! Since I stamped the gel with my seal of approval, I took it a step further and dove hair first into their other products and came out in love with the Extra Butter and Shining Star. My hair responds best to really thick and heavy products. I know if I can clump my curls before I twist I’m guaranteed really defined hair until washday. Extra Butter, essentially is a moisturizing curl cream that adds weight to my hair giving me a super defined style. I tend to flake a lot during the wintery months and the Shining Star scalp elixir is clutch for keeping my scalp moisturized and flake free. I’ll try my best to describe it, it’s like a jellified oil that is awesome for the scalp and sealing your ends. Again, it’s just magic I can’t explain it, you just have to try it for yourself. So with all that said, my best twisted hair days come from this combination: Shining Star on the scalp and end of my hair, Extra Butter and finally a thin layer of Curly magic. I know I’m having a great hair day when I get, “Is that a wig?”
