CROCHET HAIR FOR THE WIN
an Ondia J. Natural Hair Story
12 DAYS OF ONDIA J. GIVE-O-WAY: DAY 3
FEATURING: LATCHED AND HOOKED
I’ll be honest. I wasn’t a fan of crochet hair. It didn't look real and I’ve seen too many bad installations that it turned me all the way off of trying it myself, until Latched and Hooked came into my life. I was going to Jamaica and wanted some braids but only for the trip and me being Penny Pinching Pam didn’t want to spend a fortune so I decided to give crochet a go. Insert the Zoe collection Senegalese style crochet twists. The best decision ever. The hair was easy on my pockets, it was a quick install, and the twists were super lightweight and did really well when I got them wet at the pool and in the ocean. #Winning! Since that style, I’ve branched out and tried almost all the different sizes in the McKenzie Collection and made this wig you see here which gives my hair a rest. I’ve mastered the art of manipulating the hair so it looks really good and make you question if it’s my hair or not. I guess you can consider me a crochet wearer now.
Today I’m giving away the satin lined bonnet and a $60 gift card to Latched and Hooked so that you can create your very own style.
